I have been teaching yoga and meditation for 18 years. I started practicing while living in New York in my early twenties, and my whole life turned almost immediately toward practice: I left for an ashram in Argentina and then returned to complete my first teacher training in 2002. I have studied and practiced ever since. I'm known for an authentic teaching style that is supported by significant depth of knowledge and poetic articulation. I teach a rigorous alignment-specific class, while also weaving in breath and other subtle body practices. My teaching is greatly influenced by my meditation practice, and I've developed the capacity to assist students in entering deep states of meditation and rest. I now live in Ojai with my husband and young children. The practice continues.
